Entrance charge: Tickets are available before concert day via www.plankton.mobi or www.facebook.com/pages/Old-Mutual-Music-In-The-Gardens at R50 per adult. On the day of the event the price is R100 at the Garden entrance. Children under the age of 13 enter for free. Please note that on concert days Garden visitors will be allowed to enter the Garden from 08:00 to 10:00 paying normal entrance fees. From 10:00 onwards, until the Garden closes at 18:00, the entrance fee will be adjusted as per prices stated above, applicable to the event.

On the day of the event tickets at the Garden entrance will sell for R100 per adult. Botanical Society (BotSoc) members pay R70 per adult on the day of the event at the Garden entrance. Children under the age of 13 enter for free.

The Parlotones are a rock band from Johannesburg, South Africa. They have achieved multiplatinum-selling status in their home country. The band started in 1998 and they have also toured extensively in Germany, the UK and the USA. They have been described as rock, pop, indie and alternative. Take your pick.

Two years since the release of their last album ‘Stand like Giants’, award-winning outfit The Parlotones have announced their upcoming ‘Antiques & Artefacts’ album launch tour throughout South Africa.

Facilities

Beverages (alcoholic and non-alcoholic) are available for sale from the restaurant and tea garden on site. Concert goers are welcome to bring picnic baskets and blankets.

Series information

The 5th season of the winter series, Old Mutual Music in the Gardens, will again feature the hottest names in South African music between June and November. Held in the Pretoria National Botanical Garden, the series will ensure that you and your family stay toasty while the temperatures dip this Winter.
